Target 5,000,000 trees
As Portsan Mermer, we have made investments related to green energy sector and environmental protection.
To absorb the annual carbon emissions and to protect the environment with a sense of responsibility the marble quarry rehabilitation work is carried out. According to made research, to absorb our annual carbon emissions 350.000 tree planting is required and based on these data we have planted 500,000 trees in total in 3 years and we are planning the realization of this target as 5,000,000 In 10 years. According to last year we have reached 650,000 units in total tree seedlings and seeds by adding speed to planting process. We are trying greener and more beautiful world we can leave for our children. We are proud to clean our carbon footprint.
